November 2015, we saw Ne Obliviscaris announcing a tour alongside British miscreants Cradle Of Filth and United States controversial act, Butcher Babies, who also carried their passing through New York City. The Inquisitional Tourture 2015, which supported Los Angeles-based Butcher Babies, was scheduled to begin in Philadelphia at the end of January 2016. However, Cradle Of Filth had troubles with their visas due to bureaucratic delays, which prevented them from playing Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore, and Raleigh. A tour which was set to defile more than twenty-five United States and Canadian runs, an outgoing even that obliterated New York City on March 11th, 2016.
We personally have already landed in LA on our way to Philadelphia tonight and are shattered that we can’t play to our fans in these cities… From what we understand, it is expected that this situation will be resolved in the next couple of days so that the rest of the tour goes ahead starting in Charlotte on Jan 31. We are so sorry for our fans in these cities who I know will be just as disappointed as we are. We are looking into options at present for any shows in the Pennsylvania tri-state and Mid-Atlantic areas in the meantime in case it’s possible to get a show happening on such extremely short notice, and will keep you guys updated as soon as there is more news on our end. Cradle Of Filth had an infectious American tour to support their eleventh studio album, ‘Hammer Of The Witches’, which was unleashed over the past summer, July 10th, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Records. Butcher Babies presented their latest release, ‘Take It Like A Man’ in stores by Century Media Records since August 21st, 2015. Ne Obliviscaris, on the other hand, is presenting their ‘Sarabande to Nihil’ EP, which has been self-released on April 5th, 2015.
With a massively heavy heart Cradle Of Filth have to announce the cancelation, (for now at least), of our first four shows in the U.S. because of a visa issue with the American Embassy. We are doing everything in our power to rectify this situation as fast as possible.
