The Abbey – ‘Word of Sin’ Digipak

The Abbey is a Finnish band playing occult doom rock/metal. They have signed to Season of Mist and will release their debut full-length album ‘Word Of Sin’ on February 17, 2023.

The band comprises seasoned musicians: former Sentenced drummer Vesa Ranta, Shape Of Despair singer Natalie Koskinen, Jesse Heikkinen (Hexvessel), Janne Markus (ex-The Man-eating Tree), and Henri Arvola.

Drawing lyrical inspiration from esoteric organizations, their beliefs and their own practices, Finnish music veteran Jesse Heikkinen and co-lead vocalist Natalie Koskinen (Shape of Despair) weaved ritualistic tales from the darkest corners of themselves to pair with music that is a provocative, alluring kaleidoscope of dark, heavy rock.
