Eloquently chanty, deeply rooted in gothic rock vibes, ‘2econd Skin’ marks the transition of Portuguese Moonspell to darker realms of the earlier days of goth music, yet with a powerful melodic aura, which somehow transits from melodramatic and engulfing enchantment to hints of aggressive black metal and electronic waves, as if a bipolar album it was.

There are moments of pure necromantic, often entwined with a vampiric aura, yet an insane and intelligent combination of many musical intersections makes this album a successful experiment.
