Nightrage is a melodic Death metal band based in Thessaloniki and Uppsala. Nightrage was formed by the Greek guitarist duo Marios Iliopoulos and Gus G. Nowadays, half of the members live in Sweden.
Nightrage has been around making crazy good metal music for several years and is a highly experienced band, having played shows worldwide.
‘Abyss Rising’ is their 9th album, partly inspired by Dante’s ‘Inferno’ and explores man’s continual destruction of the world we live in until the abyss opens up to consume all before it. The band has embraced a harder, faster, and more brutal approach, still rich in melodic intent but still heavy and aggressive.
