Norwegian mastermind Morten Veland, who serves as the band’s bandleader, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter, expertly produced the group’s eleventh studio album. The mixing was skillfully handled by HK at Vamacara Studio in France, showcasing Sirenia’s ability to remain at the forefront of their genre even after more than two decades in the industry.

‘1977’ captivates listeners from the very start with the enchanting opening track, ‘Deadlight.’ This atmospheric piece is brought to life by a combination of soulful violin, delicate piano lines, and the haunting mezzo-soprano voice of French vocalist Emmanuelle Zoldan.
