‘Vile Nilotic Rites’ is the ninth studio album from Nile, one of the strongest and most distinctive death metal brands of the past two decades.

The album is full of saurian whirlwinds and provocative funerary spells, crafted by the collaborative efforts of the new members in the band, bassist/vocalist Brad Parris and guitarist/vocalist Brian Kingsland.

This album was produced with intense pre-production at Serpent Headed Studios in Greenville, South Carolina, with mixing and mastering from ace Mark Lewis.

This album features 11 songs that are sharp as obsidian blades and heavy as nine Nubian pyramids, such as ‘Long Shadows Of Dread,’ ‘Seven Horns Of War,’ ‘Snake Pit Mating Frenzy,’ and the title track.
